You have driven south from Portland and the weather is getting worse. So bad to the point that you roll down your window and stick your head out just to see where you are going. What would most of us do? Turn around and go back to Portland. I am sorry for the loss of the Kim family. I hope all non-winter weather experienced geeks have learned nothing if this--carry a GPS unit in your car (plus spare batteries) and don't keep driving if you can't see ahead where you're driving.
